Career Fields

Planetary Geologists

Planetary geologists are crucial to the understandings of our solar system and the universe beyond. In their careers, they work to uncover the mysteries of celestial bodies and apply that research in ways that aid humankind. These scientists analyze photos videos and sometimes actual specimens gathered from other planets, comets, asteroids, and satellites in hopes of discovering the origins, history, climates, and gain a better understanding of these bodies.

Eugene Earle Shoemaker, American geologist, was one of the pioneers of planetary science. He is best known for his work on terrestrial craters and discovering along side his wife the comet shoemaker-levy 9.

Astrophysicist

Astrophysicist scrutinize and elucidate astronomical phenomena to augment understanding of how the universe functions. The physicists work is closely associated to the work of astronomers, and the field of astrophysics is a sub-field of astronomy and physics.

Astronomer, astrophysicist, and educator Carl Sagan. He is known for his rolls in many movies. Along with being a prominent part in the popularization of science.

Avionics Technician

Avionics technicians deal with the piloting, communication, and other systems predominant to spacecraft. The technicians' tasks may incorporate testing electronic instruments, situating instrument panels, and replacing failing components. They also make a log of any complications and amends, which are information engineers might then utilize for ameliorating and enhancing future designs.

Fritz Zwicky was a Swiss astronomer who did most of his work at the California Institute of Technology. He created the term Supernova in 1934 and was the first to use the virial theorem to infer the existence of unseen matter.

Astronomers

Astronomers are scientists who devise theories, conduct assessments, do extensive amounts of examination,

and undertake the universe through the study of outer space. They will occasionally construct new technologies for the study of space, and many astronomers will publish their findings.

Cosmologists

Cosmologists are scientists who attempt to discover explanations, origins, and the future of the universe display. Additionally, they also try to reveal the phenomenon that incorporates the studies of law,  motion, and constitution.

Famous Cosmologists:

Famous Theoretical Physicist Stephen Hawking known for his work in the field of cosmology.
